AI is not coming. It is already in production. Yet most organisations still govern it with policy documents that do nothing to constrain a system at the moment it acts. Governance struggles wherever authority and accountability are blurred: teams are unsure where final approval lies, overlapping mandates create friction, and nobody owns the outcome when something goes wrong.
This programme teaches participants to apply FRAME, a domain-agnostic governance framework for enterprise AI, developed by Ian Loe through direct enterprise experience across ASEAN operations. It is built to be applied, not merely referenced.
The Five Dimensions
Focus
Define the domain, scope and intended outcome. What problem are we solving, and just as importantly, what are we deliberately not solving?
Roles
Move from participation to ownership. Name the business owner, technology owner, operational oversight and escalation path before deployment, not after an incident.
Authority
Make decision rights explicit across three tiers: autonomous, confirmed and prohibited actions. This is the piece classic RACI models miss, and it must be enforced technically, not just written down.
Metrics
Measure value, not activity. Anchor measurement to business outcomes and risk mitigation, with baselines set before go-live.
Evaluation
Governance is not a static document. Build a continuous review cycle across operational, quarterly and strategic horizons so governance adapts as the system evolves.
What You Will Learn
- Apply the FRAME dimensions to a real AI deployment in your organisation
- Design authority tiers that define what an AI system may do alone, with confirmation, or never
- Assign named human accountability across the deployment lifecycle
- Distinguish activity, outcome and governance metrics, and set baselines that mean something
- Use the FRAME audit checklist and maturity assessment to find gaps in current governance
- Connect organisational governance to runtime controls and regulatory expectations
THE BENEFIT
Faster, safer AI deployment. When everyone knows who decides, what the system is allowed to do and how success is measured, projects stop stalling on ambiguity and risk teams can say yes with confidence.
Who Should Attend
- Business leaders accountable for AI outcomes
- Risk, compliance, audit and legal professionals
- CIOs, CTOs and AI programme owners
- Architects and delivery leads deploying agentic or autonomous AI
FRAME pairs with AAEF: FRAME sets the governance envelope for a deployment, and AAEF evaluates the individual agents operating within it. The two can be taken together as a complete governance programme.
Bring FRAME to Your Organisation
Delivered as an in-house workshop, using your own AI initiatives as the working material.
